About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a Senior Vice President of Clinical Development to spearhead the strategic and operational facets of clinical programs focused on innovative therapeutics for immune-mediated diseases. This pivotal role will involve crafting and executing the clinical development strategy to align with the company's mission, overseeing the design and implementation of clinical trials, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of clinical sections for regulatory filings, as well as building and managing a high-performing clinical development team while promoting a culture of scientific excellence and patient-centered care. Furthermore, this leader will act as a key communicator regarding clinical development milestones to both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated clinical activities.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess an M.D. or equivalent, with board certification in a relevant specialty strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of direct clinical development experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven history of designing and executing clinical trials specific to immune-mediated diseases or related areas, alongside successful regulatory submissions and interactions.
