Full Time, 0.9, 36.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift:

Weekend Nights Pay:

$37.35 - $52.29 / hour. Pay is based on applicant's relevant experience Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days after hire. Join the UCHealth Team! As a CT XR Technologist, you will be a vital member of our dynamic team, dedicated to improving lives through innovative care. You will: Provide exceptional patient care by performing a range of imaging and radiologic procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. Mentor new staff and share your expertise in imaging. Embrace new knowledge in a fast-paced, forward-thinking clinical environment. Contribute to safety and quality assurance at the point of care. Key Responsibilities: Review patient history and start CT imaging based on physician orders while prioritizing patient education for cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or imaging-related medications and monitor the patient's condition. Quickly respond to and report any changes in patient status. Apply best practices in Radiology for clarity in imaging and equipment functionality. Assume a role in 3-D post-processing and manage the transmission of scan results.
