Overview

A large, nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced

Billing Coordinator

to join its accounting team. This position supports the firm's attorneys and clients by ensuring accurate and timely billing, maintaining compliance with client billing guidelines, and contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of billing experience in a professional services setting, thrive in a high-volume environment, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, edit, and finalize monthly prebills and client invoices in accordance with firm standards. Execute complex billing adjustments accurately and on schedule. Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to address billing questions and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with the eBilling team to resolve any rejections or compliance issues related to electronic invoicing. Maintain consistent communication with billing attorneys and clients, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness. Identify and correct billing inconsistencies or errors. Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (minimum 3 years required). Prior experience in a

law firm or professional services

billing environment strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Experience with

Elite 3E, Proforma Tracker, InTapp Time, or similar billing software

is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management. Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial data.

Salary: $65-$75k/yr.
