The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader committed to housing justice and community empowerment. Key responsibilities will include guiding the organization's strategic direction, overseeing fundraising initiatives, ensuring sound financial management, and leading a senior team to deliver impactful programs. The Director must possess a robust background in nonprofit management, exceptional financial acumen, and the capacity to inspire and engage staff, the Board of Directors, and community partners. To thrive in this role, applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree (an advanced degree is preferred) and have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated nonprofit leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include a strong foundation in affordable housing development, property management, and housing policy, particularly within the Baltimore or DMV markets. The successful candidate will have proven experience securing funding from a variety of sources as well as a history of effective change management. Exceptional communication skills, the ability to harmonize strategic vision with practical execution, and a steadfast commitment to our organization's values are essential.
