Staff Work Schedule : UW Health Kids is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer working at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. 100% FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:30PM, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating evening/weekend call responsibility and 1-hour response time. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : Additional components of compensation may include:

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer
to: Join a team of highly skilled sonographers who are leaders in the field. Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and use the latest of advanced ultrasound equipment and technology. Join our Pediatric Echo Lab that is accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography. Care for patients from fetal life through adulthood and across the care continuum in spaces that include outpatient clinics, inpatient units, OR, and Cath Lab. • Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, Associate Degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or relevant health sciences field Required Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field Preferred Work Experience
Pediatric echocardiography experience Preferred 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography testing Preferred Licenses & Certifications
