Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographe r
to support our client’s medical facility based in
Madison Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms (dobutamine, treadmill exercise) as well as carotid duplex exams. Record and communicate preliminary findings to supervising and reading physicians. Conduct exams following standard protocols for adult, geriatric, and occasional pediatric/adolescent patients. Utilize stationary and portable ultrasound equipment. Serve as a
clinical instructor
for the UW School of Ultrasound, providing education and training to fellows, residents, and visiting physicians. Participate in clinical research and serve as a clinical resource across the system.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum
1 year of cardiac sonography experience
required. Education: Successful completion of a
CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program OR Associate degree in
Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or a related health science field
Licensure & Certification: Registered in Echocardiography ( RCS or RDCS ) BLS certification
(American Heart Association only)
Additional Information Travel Requirement:
Candidate’s permanent address must be
at least 50 miles
from the assigned primary worksite.
