Electrical Engineer
One of our clients is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to support and manage electrical maintenance activities across their manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring all electrical and control system operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental standards. The engineer will also participate in a structured professional development program designed to strengthen technical and leadership skills within plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute daily electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and reliability across all plant systems.
Supervise and guide electrical and instrumentation technicians in executing work orders and projects.
Promote and enforce electrical safety standards and safe work practices across all operations.
Develop, maintain, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all electrical systems.
Conduct inspections, analyze quantitative data, and use diagnostic tools to enhance equipment performance.
Maintain accurate electrical documentation, schematics, and spare parts inventory.
Evaluate and program control systems to meet operational and environmental compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to process control systems.
Provide training and support to plant personnel on control systems and electrical best practices.
Support system upgrades, installations, and improvement projects to ensure long-term operational reliability.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of control systems, industrial automation, and electrical diagnostics.
Other Requirements:
Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
Ability to follow and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
