What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Review and evaluate moderately complex water reclamation permit applications and facility designs
Participate in site visits, data collection, inspections, and investigations related to environmental topics
Perform complex environmental calculations and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with regulations
Assist in preparing environmental guidance documents and lead projects under direction
Respond to customer inquiries and provide compliance assistance to various stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
2-5 years of environmental experience (Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience)
Knowledge of State and Federal environmental regulations and engineering principles
Strong communication, research, customer service, and project management skills
Ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in environmental engineering or related fields
Familiarity with environmental rules and statutes
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google office applications
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in customer service or outreach
