We’re looking for a

Tree Care Services Business Developer

to join our bright, collaborative team at BrightView Landscapes in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

Manage the Tree Care Service (TCS) pipeline from prospecting to closing, collaborating with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration.

Lead proactive, self‑starter sales initiatives, interacting with the public and internal stakeholders.

Sell and estimate Tree Care Services in regional territories.

Use consultative sales techniques for prospecting, marketing, and pricing to build long‑standing business relationships.

Partner with Landscape Maintenance Account Managers and Branch Manager to develop Tree Care programs and estimates for existing clients.

Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, web‑ex demonstrations, and contract negotiations with minimal supervision.

Network to increase penetration in new tree‑care service accounts within assigned verticals or target accounts.

Achieve sales goals independently while logging activity consistently in Salesforce.

Collaborate with internal resources to drive larger Tree Care services sales and opportunities.

Build and maintain trust‑based professional relationships with key decision‑makers.

Operate in a fast‑paced environment with a high sense of urgency.

Communicate proactively with all decision‑makers and influencers.

Plan daily, hit specific activity benchmarks, and close business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Appropriate Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA or Certified Arborist).

Commercial contract sales experience preferred.

Extensive mid‑ to senior‑level B2B selling experience.

Experience managing multiple projects and multitasking within a large territory.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience with a CRM or SFA tool beneficial.

Proven track record of sales goal attainment in longer selling cycles.

Highly competitive, positive, and results‑driven.

Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

Self‑motivated and self‑directed.

Local market knowledge and contacts preferred.
