Job Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting projects, month‑end close and reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial records. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous process improvements within the accounting function.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Lead the month‑end and year‑end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate financial data and analysis.

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals.

Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and ensuring timely completion.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

CPA or progress toward CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
