Laser Operator - Leader in Architectural Design
Salary: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

We’re looking for a skilled Laser/Press Operator to help shape the next generation of custom metalwork.
Responsibilities
Program and set up CNC fiber laser and press brake machinery to fabricate precision components.
Develop and optimize CNC programs for fiber laser cutting and press brake forming using CAD/CAM software and machine controls.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine setup and tooling requirements.
Operate machines, run manual equipment (lathes, mills, angle rolls, mandrel benders) for specialty or one‑off projects.
Adjust settings and tooling offsets to maintain consistent part quality.
Conduct test runs and first‑article inspections to verify accuracy.
Help develop shop standards for tolerances and inspection.
Assist with 3D modeling and drafting of parts and assemblies (Onshape or equivalent).
Provide feedback to engineering team for manufacturability.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
Hands‑on experience with fiber laser and/or press brake machinery.
Strong knowledge of G‑code, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint interpretation.
Understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision measurement tools.
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Willingness to collaborate and train others in a team‑oriented shop environment.
