About EcoSmart Solution EcoSmart Solution develops energy and building resiliency projects for all real estate asset types for commercial customers across the country. We are a team of engineers, data scientists, and construction professionals committed to creating a better built environment. Projects include geothermal energy networks for new home communities, solar and energy storage solutions for industrial property portfolios, fully independent low‑carbon microgrids for neighborhoods, and energy and water saving deep retrofits for older buildings.

Job Summary This role provides financial analysis, modeling, and deal‑structuring support to EcoSmart Solution’s energy‑focused building infrastructure business. The Junior Financial Analyst will translate engineering scopes and market incentives into project‑level financial models, evaluate project feasibility, and prepare materials that support both internal decision‑making and external communications. The role is designed for a recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

1–3 years of experience, including internships or equivalent work.

Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills; comfortable with large data sets.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and core financial concepts (DCF, NPV, IRR, ROI, cap rates, loan math).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and independent error checking.

Interest in clean energy, built‑environment sustainability, or real‑estate finance.

US‑based and authorized to work in the United States.

The Ideal Candidate

High cognitive ability and pattern‑recognition skills.

Comfort reading policy/regulatory text and translating it to financial reality.

Proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.).

Exposure to project finance, real estate finance, or clean‑energy economics.

Curious with diverse interests and strong goal‑setting track record.

Self‑aware direct communicator with a growth mindset.

Job Duties

Financial Modeling & Analysis

Build, run, and improve project‑level financial models.

Translate engineering scopes into cash‑flow projections.

Research and apply tax credits, incentives, and rebates.

Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses.

Incentives & Market Research

Maintain database of incentive programs.

Research retail electricity markets.

Support interpretation of IRS and agency guidance.

Communication & Collaboration

Prepare analysis and materials for leadership and clients.

Collaborate with Business Development and Engineering teams.

Support pitch decks, proposals, and memos.

Communicate findings concisely.

Deal Structuring Support

Support evaluation of project debt and equity structures.

Contribute to pricing strategies.

Interact with developers, lenders, and partners.

Other

Maintain organized workbooks and version control.

Suggest and implement automation solutions.

Other duties as assigned.
