OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager to lead channel distribution strategies across a portfolio of innovative, high-growth clients. In this client-facing role, you will develop, manage, and execute strategic retail and distribution plans across North America, owning key relationships with top-tier retailers, distributors, and partners.

Your success will be measured by your ability to guide multi-brand strategies that increase sell-through, profitability, and market share—whether in big box retail, specialty, or emerging retail platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach, a wide-reaching network, and a deep understanding of the retail and distribution landscape across industries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead channel strategy and execution across multiple clients in consumer tech, beauty, food & beverage, and more.

Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key buyers and decision-makers across top North American retailers and distributors (e.g., Target, Sephora, Whole Foods, Amazon, Best Buy, etc.).

Identify opportunities and risks within channel programs and build client‑specific sales plans that drive revenue, market share, and brand equity.

Advise clients on optimizing front‑end and back‑end retail programs, from promotional planning and pricing strategies to merchandising and supply chain alignment.

Manage sell‑through performance across accounts, reviewing sales data, forecasting demand, and adapting strategy in real‑time to maximize velocity.

Develop and negotiate terms, conditions, and trade programs with retail and distributor partners to ensure profitability and sustainability.

Partner cross‑functionally with TargetPath teams (marketing, operations, analytics) to deliver an integrated, data‑driven go‑to‑market approach.

Coach internal teams and client stakeholders on how to navigate and scale within retail ecosystems.

Stay on the pulse of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive dynamics to provide clients with forward‑looking strategic guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in channel sales, retail strategy, or business development within consumer‑facing industries.

A track record of success working with leading North American retailers and distributors across categories such as consumer electronics, beauty, food & beverage, and lifestyle.

Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment.

Demonstrated success in scaling early‑stage or challenger brands within retail.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

High business acumen with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business training is a plus.

Comfortable with frequent domestic travel (up to 50%), depending on client needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM/reporting tools.
