Due to dynamic and sustained growth, BrownWinick, a 90+ attorney firm, is excited to announce two opportunities in our Real Estate practice group:
We are seeking experienced, motivated, and client-focused attorneys who are team players and are passionate about real estate law and eager to grow with a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
Member-Level Attorney Responsibilities:
Serve as a senior member of the Real Estate team, providing strategic counsel to clients on a broad range of real estate matters.
Manage and expand client relationships, including business development and cross-collaboration across the firm.
Train and mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the continued growth of the practice group.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in transactional real estate law.
Strong client service and communication skills.
Bar admission in Iowa is required (or eligibility to waive in).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in tax credit and government incentive agreements and transactions.
Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and subcontracts.
Experience drafting and negotiating real estate financing documents.
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research.
Draft real estate transactional documents, including, but not limited to, purchase and sale agreements, real estate financing instruments, conveyance documents, construction agreements, and commercial and residential leases.
Work directly with clients and contribute to compliance, strategy, and team discussions.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in transactional real estate law.
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong academic credentials.
Bar admission in Iowa is required (or eligibility to waive in).
