Job Description Position:
Quality Inspector (Contract/Hire) – Johnson Service Group (JSG) – Holbrook, NY
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a world‑leading manufacturer of RF and microwave components. This contract/hire opportunity involves inspecting incoming materials, in‑process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections of electronic components and assemblies using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, magnifiers, microscopes).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria.
Document inspection results clearly and accurately, including non‑conformances and deviations.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Ensure that workmanship standards such as IPC‑A‑610 & J‑STD‑001 and safety procedures are followed.
