Logistics Planner (LTL/TL) – Niles, IL $38/Hour - $43/Hour – Plus full benefits
We specialize in manufacturing and distributing high-performance engine and motor parts for the automotive, powersports, and recreational vehicle industries. For over 55 years, we’ve supplied Tier 1 and aftermarket customers with precision components built to withstand the demands of cars, ATVs, motorcycles, UTVs, and more.

As we continue to scale our operations, we’re looking for a Logistics Planner to join our logistics team and help us streamline how our products move—from our manufacturing floor to customers across the country.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily transportation operations, including inbound materials and outbound shipments
Optimize freight routes and consolidate shipments to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery times
Manage relationships with LTL, FTL, and international carriers, ensuring performance and compliance
Work closely with our warehouse, production, and procurement teams to align shipping with inventory and production schedules
Monitor shipments and troubleshoot delays or disruptions
Support freight contract negotiations and maintain rate agreements with carriers
Track key logistics metrics (on-time delivery, freight spend, etc.) and recommend improvements
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in transportation planning or logistics - ground transportation experience is a MUST (LTL/TL)
Experience using Oracle OTM, required
Oracle JD Edwards is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
