Overview
MANAGEMENT IS VERY MOTIVATED TO ADD NEW ELECTRICAL ENGINEER TO THE TEAM. THIS IS A CONTRACT OR PROJECT POSITION. THE POSITION IS IMMEDIATE AND THE LEADERSHIP TEAM IS OPEN TO ON-SITE INTERVIEWS AS APPROPRIATE.
Responsibilities
Designed electrical system diagrams and cable drawings per customer specification.
Generated new cable drawing method to eliminate multiple ECN activity.
Participated and presented in design reviews.
Provided engineering support for on-site hardware installation and integration.
Applied NEC/NFPA standards.
Designed electrical systems and cabling for aircraft.
Calculated power requirements.
Determined methods and procedures to assist manufacturing with fabrication.
Generated wire list and parts list.
Implemented engineering change notices.
Collaborated on design or solutions with program team, engineering disciplines and manufacturing staff.
Created technical documentation and procedures.
Generates technical documentation describing designs.
When needed, resolved technical problems escalated from personnel on devices in Hardware Integration & Verification (SIV).
Defines interfaces on prototype designs and works with other engineering disciplines to arrive at a simulation solution for these interfaces.
Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) program subject matter expert.
Qualifications Experience in electrical engineering design, cable and high voltage systems for aircraft, and compliance with NEC/NFPA standards. Ability to provide documentation, support integration, and resolve technical issues. Knowledge of ECN processes and simulation of interfaces. Experience in contractor or project roles preferred.
