Construction Project Manager

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 annually (depending on experience and education)

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and capable Construction Project Manager to oversee mechanical projects across our North Texas market, as well as in Corpus Christi. This individual will manage all aspects of project delivery, from preconstruction planning through completion, while maintaining H&G's commitment to quality, safety, and collaboration.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level Project Manager who has several years of experience with a mechanical contractor and is ready to grow in a supportive, professional environment. We're looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and who wants to contribute to a team that values precision and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Coordinate closely with superintendents, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project alignment
Review drawings, submittals, and specifications for accuracy and constructability
Track project progress and financial performance, including forecasting, billing, and change management
Lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
Promote safety and quality standards on all job sites
Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with a mechanical contractor (HVAC / plumbing)
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design-build processes, and construction sequencing
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent projects
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record, with the ability to travel.
