We are seeking an experienced
Senior Information Security Specialist
to join our team in
Fort Worth, TX . In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening our cybersecurity program by driving risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and security awareness across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead and execute information security risk assessments for projects and systems.
Partner with IT and business teams to integrate security controls into key initiatives.
Monitor vulnerabilities, emerging threats, and report on security metrics to leadership.
Support the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls as part of the Daimler Internal Control System.
Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures aligned to industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27005).
Assess the security of IT systems and oversee remediation plans for identified risks.
Evaluate and monitor third-party providers for compliance and risk exposure.
Create and deliver security awareness and education materials for employees.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity/IT Security (GRC preferred).
Strong background in Risk Management (monitoring, reporting, quantification).
Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Hands‑on experience with security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27005.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with cybersecurity compliance reviews or spot checks.
A proactive mindset and motivation to grow your cybersecurity career.
Preferred Qualifications
Information Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CGRC, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
Experience in the financial sector or highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of U.S. regulations (NYCRR 500, GLBA, etc.).
Familiarity with Compliance Management Systems.
Experience with JIRA (administrative capacity a plus).
Knowledge of cloud security governance.
Expertise in Third-Party Risk Management and audit procedures.
