Duties

Serve as a subject matter expert providing RF engineering expertise to PMO Hard Targets programs and customers.

Apply analog and digital RF engineering, DSP, SATCOM, antenna design, and RF‑enabled cyber operations knowledge.

Evaluate software‑defined radio solutions and associated DSP software.

Direct vendors in analysis of alternative trade studies for high‑performance RF equipment.

Provide reviews and actionable feedback on technical documents from vendors.

Collaborate with exploitation analysts and other intelligence elements to define requirements for electronic signal collection.

Extract signals from multiple access collections such as TDMA and FDMA.

Requirements

Subject to suitability or fitness determination via background investigation.

Three‑year trial/probationary period may apply.

Must obtain and maintain TOP SECRET SCI clearance.

Travel up to 25% of time on military/commercial aircraft.

Complete counterintelligence scope polygraph and urinalysis screening.

Submit annual financial disclosure (OGE 450) and comply with DoD Directive 5500‑7‑R and NSA security requirements.

May be recalled, required to work non‑normal hours, overtime, and holidays.

Qualifications Basic Requirement

A. Degree:

Bachelor’s or higher in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program or meeting specified calculus and physics coursework (transcripts required).

B. Combination of Education and Experience:

Professional registration or licensure (EIT, PE) or proof of FE exam completion.

60 semester hours of required courses.

Related curriculum leading to a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with at least one year of professional engineering experience.

In addition, candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience in RF engineering, circuit design, testing methodologies, and integration strategies relevant to the position.

Education Foreign education must be evaluated by a recognized private organization and deemed equivalent to U.S. accredited programs.
