Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Global Alternative Investment Firm – AVP, Private Equity Fund Finance
(Northeast-based, hybrid – office near Berkeley Heights, NJ)
This leading global investment firm manages over $1T in assets across strategies including private equity, real estate, credit, infrastructure, and secondary funds. The Private Wealth Solutions Fund Finance team supports fund performance reporting and all aspects of accounting for multi‑asset private equity vehicles. The group oversees financial reporting, limited partner statements, and investor communications, and partners closely with investment, finance, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Review daily cash and investment activity
Monitor and report on credit facility usage
Review journal entries and general ledger analyses
Coordinate capital calls and investor distributions
Review management fee and waterfall calculations
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and fund disclosures
Prepare capital account statements and internal corporate reporting packages
Respond to investor inquiries and audit requests
Manage regulatory filings (e.g., Form PF, AIFMD)
Collaborate with tax teams to ensure data accuracy
Support ad‑hoc projects and internal initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or active CPA candidate preferred
5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or fund administration (private equity focus strongly preferred)
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Advanced Excel proficiency; Investran or similar fund accounting system experience a plus
