Title: Procurement Manager – Telecommunications Oversight
Location: Chicago, Hybrid
Salary: $125000 - $147500 / Year + 20% bonus
Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Must have the following in your background: Network/WAN/Telecommunication Negotiation of contracts- specifically around WAN. Strong telecom skills and understanding on how to optimize speed, support, pricing etc. This is an area of big cost savings for the firm.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for optimizing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies. This role involves evaluating vendors, managing supply chain risks, and improving procurement workflows to drive efficiency and compliance. With strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, the ideal candidate will contribute to strategic sourcing and cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure the best value, quality, and reliability Negotiate, draft, and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards Lead contract and pricing negotiations to achieve favorable terms, cost savings, and win outcomes with suppliers Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality or timelines Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and resolve any disputes or performance issues effectively Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to inform purchasing strategies Streamline and improve procurement workflows, systems, and policies Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity Analyze procurement data to provide actionable insights and inform strategic decisions Skills and Experience
5-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field Strong negotiation and contract management skills Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel) Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills Certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus but not required Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
