INTEGRIS Health Corporate Office, with Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, has a great opportunity for a Treasury Department Accountant in Oklahoma City, OK. In this position, you’ll be part of our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing exceptional support to INTEGRIS Health caregivers and the community at large.
This role involves managing financial and statistical data in the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and directing analytical reviews of financial performance.
Responsibilities
Manages accumulation, preparation, and reporting of financial and statistical data.
Coordinates with vendors, buyers, and contract managers to resolve issues.
Provides financial information to management by researching, analyzing, and summarizing accounting data and trends; prepares reports.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries and documents financial transactions.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents and maintaining accounting controls.
Guides accounting clerical staff, coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconciles financial discrepancies and maintains accurate records.
Secures financial information through database backups and internal controls.
Prepares payments, verifies documentation, and requests disbursements.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying legislation and advising management.
Gathers and analyzes information from the general ledger and departments to support budgeting and audit.
Assists with budget and audit by preparing spreadsheets, account analyses, and related items.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Two years of accounting experience preferred.
Certified Public Accountant or CPA candidate preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
