Business Analyst (Financial Domain)

About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst with strong expertise in financial technology (FinTech) domains to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, and supporting the delivery of innovative financial products and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Work closely with product, engineering, and QA teams throughout the SDLC to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and process mapping to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Support the design and rollout of FinTech solutions related to digital payments, lending, core banking, investment platforms, or financial analytics.
Define and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and workflow diagrams.
Perform data analysis and validation using tools such as SQL, Excel, or BI platforms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Partner with QA teams to design and execute UAT test cases and validate results.
Monitor post-implementation performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
Strong understanding of financial systems, payment gateways, digital banking, or financial data integration.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and business processes to identify trends and solutions.
