Job Summary The Project Engineer I (PE) performs different functions assigned by the project manager or assistant project manager. These tasks may involve tracking submittals, RFIs and major equipment as well as general document control.

Recording
Document Control: RFIs, submittals, drawings, QA/QC documents, close‑out documents
Assist in project buyouts: major purchases (takeoffs, RFPs, bid leveling, vendor selection, issue POs, issue change orders)
MOPs: development, management, access requests
Miscellaneous: labels, payroll, office orders
Qualifications
BSc/BA in construction management, engineering, or relevant field experience
Basic understanding of electrical construction and materials
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, Primavera P6 & Bluebeam
Outstanding communication and customer‑service skills
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced work environment
Working Conditions Mostly office‑based. Typical working hours Monday–Friday, but may require longer hours or weekend work. Field work may involve travel and exposure to fumes, vibration, extreme weather, and other construction site conditions.
Physical Requirements May require sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
