As a Qualcomm Diagnostics Engineer, you will join a global team of experts to advance logic & memory diagnostics and advanced analytics, including the application of artificial intelligence to provide industry‑leading diagnostics solutions to Qualcomm business units. This role is critical in identifying, analyzing, and resolving yield problems & questions across the manufacturing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor diagnostics, analysis, artificial intelligence, and data‑driven problem solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
2+ years of experience in semiconductor diagnostics, DFT engineering, yield engineering, or failure analysis.
Strong understanding of AI model evaluation, tuning, and explainability techniques.
Strong understanding of diagnostic flows, including MBIST, scan chain analysis, and wafer map interpretation.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to all levels of management.
Pay Range And Other Compensation & Benefits $126,700.00 – $190,100.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
