Job Description BlueStar is seeking an experienced Project and Resource Manager to assign and keep a high volume of digital marketing and event projects moving. A successful candidate will have experience managing small and medium-scale digital projects. Our work spans website, email, newsletters, paid and organic social media, field events, and video production. This role will work directly with the Marcom Design and Content teams and report to the Director of Marketing. As a technology distributor, BlueStar executes marketing activities on behalf of several computer hardware manufacturers—companies such as Zebra Technologies, Honeywell, Epson, Samsung, and others. The Project & Resource Manager will serve as the point person for new project ingestion and clarification, assist in onboarding design and content team members for various projects, communicate project requirements and timing, and ensure effective communication between internal clients and the Marcom team. Internal clients include Business Development Managers (BDMs) who represent our various vendor lines, event marketing managers, department heads, Sales leaders, and HR.
Requirements
4-6+ years in-house or agency environment as part of a creative marketing and design team
Experience with Clickup, Notion, Asana, or similar project management tools
Understanding of marketing and design fundamentals and measurement metrics
Nice to have
Experience managing paid social media marketing campaigns
Hands‑on knowledge of HubSpot marketing automation platform
Familiarity with design tools like Canvas or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
