Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Translate customer drawings into accurate quotes by selecting materials and calculating feeds, speeds, cycle times, and tooling/fixturing requirements.
Develop and optimize CNC milling programs from engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform CNC mill setups and operate equipment with the right tooling and fixtures in place.
Continuously monitor performance and adjust parameters to sustain quality and efficiency.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to keep machines in peak condition.
Work closely with engineering and production to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
Record production runs, tooling changes, and maintenance with meticulous detail.
Follow safety procedures and help foster a safe, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC programming is preferred.
3–5 years of CNC programming experience focused on milling.
Solid understanding of G-code and M-code.
Experience with CAD/CAM (GibbsCAM preferred) and CNC machine setup.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
Confidence reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Clear communicator who collaborates well within a team.
Location On-site role in Britton, SD. Relocation is encouraged for the right candidate.
