Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Thompson Palm Springs is recruiting an enthusiastic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support all food and beverage outlets within the hotel. The role will be part of the hotel’s F&B leadership team, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lola Rose, Grand Mezze – three‑meal restaurant & lounge
In‑Room Dining – offering breakfast, lunch & dinner
Pool food and beverage service
Responsible for the short‑ and long‑term planning of the restaurant
Ensure effective hiring, training, development and promotion of team
Lead and coach team towards achieving exceptional guest services and colleague satisfaction results
Full understanding of colleague engagement
Maintain a high energy, positive, professional appearance
Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions
Take initiative to run the outlets as a free‑standing entity
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
Refined written and verbal communication skills
A desire to exceed guest expectations
Full‑time management position requiring full flexibility, ability to work weekends, holidays and varied schedule
Previous Assistant Restaurant Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or supervisory experience preferred
Proficient computer knowledge, including POS systems
Extremely detail oriented and organized, strong leadership, and strong F&B knowledge
High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and excelling in customer service
Compensation Exempt (salaried). The budgeted salary range for this position is $66,560 to $78,000.
