Title: Event Traffic Director (Non‑Driving)
Department: Valet Operations
Reports to: Account Manager
Schedule: Full Time / Part Time
Status: Non‑Exempt
Compensation: $20.00 per Hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Punctuality and Appearance:
Arrive on time and wear a clean, complete uniform with proper grooming to maintain a professional image.
Vehicle Damage Survey:
Complete vehicle damage surveys accurately and record parking locations on each claim ticket.
Vehicle Direction:
Direct vehicles efficiently and safely to designated parking spots to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Timekeeping and Attendance:
Follow attendance and timekeeping processes, including clocking in/out and reporting tips in compliance with company guidelines.
Staff Meetings and Training:
Attend required staff meetings and complete training modules in a timely manner.
Equipment and Supplies:
Use and maintain necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Work Environment:
Promote a positive team environment and collaboration.
Guest Communication and Service:
Maintain high-level communication and service with guests and clients to exceed expectations.
Anticipating and Resolving Issues:
Proactively anticipate guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
Safety Practices:
Adhere to personal and vehicle safety precautions for all guests and staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other tasks as needed to support operational and financial goals, maintaining flexibility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Follow company policies and procedures with adaptability to changing work environments.
Dependability: Maintain schedules, complete tasks on time, and report unsafe conditions.
Adaptability: Handle competing demands and unexpected situations with professionalism.
Customer Service Attitude: Provide helpful, customer‑focused service.
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Customer service experience preferred and mandatory customer service attitude.
Certificates and Licenses Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (no more than three moving violations in three years). Pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands Collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on‑site and in corporate settings. Frequent computer use, phone communication, and occasional outdoor activities. Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights as needed. Specific vision abilities—close, distance, peripheral, depth perception—required.
