Responsibilities
Diagnose Vehicle Issues: Analyze customer concerns, utilize diagnostic tools, and inspect vehicle systems to identify malfunctions. Repair and Maintain Vehicles: Develop repair plans, obtain authorization, repair/replace components, and test functionality according to specifications. Customer Communication: Explain technical issues, provide estimates, and update customers on service progress. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and procedures. Additional Duties: Conduct test drives for diagnosis; research technical information and collaborate on complex issues; recommend preventative maintenance; maintain a clean and safe work environment; contribute to a positive team environment; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self‑awareness, and integrity. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of dealership technician experience (Jaguar Land Rover preferred). Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience preferred; Jaguar Land Rover factory certifications preferred but not required; Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus. Technical Expertise: Possess strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Diagnostic Proficiency: Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair Proficiency: Able to perform a range of repairs, from basic maintenance to complex overhauls. Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work in various positions and tight spaces. Visual acuity for inspections and diagnostics. About Us
