Seasonal Tax Senior Manager – Banking & Capital Markets (BCM) Location:

Anywhere in Country (New York or Remote)

EY is a leader in the global financial services marketplace, providing a senior manager role focused on tax accounting and risk advisory within the Banking and Capital Markets segment.

Key Responsibilities Provide tax guidance and consulting on tax accounting and planning for internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve‑out statements, GAAP conversions, share‑based compensation, and restatements. Assist companies with preparation of tax provisions and review the provision process for efficiency, accuracy, and control improvement. Enhance control environments and assess tax risk across Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404 boundaries.

Required Skills & Attributes Tax accounting and consulting experience. Tax provision preparation and review. Process and controls enhancement. Risk identification, prioritization, monitoring, and remediation.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field; preferred advanced degrees (MST, MAcc, JD/LLM). Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership. Minimum 10 years of professional services or tax organization experience. Broad understanding of federal income taxation. Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 knowledge. Corporate tax planning and compliance experience. Broad industry exposure to federal income taxation.

Compensation Hourly rate: $120–$150 per hour.

• The salary range for this position in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
