About The Role The Talent Acquisition Supervisor (Human Resource Supervisor) manages a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, coordinators, and a sourcer, to meet the ever increasing need to hire, promote, and develop our division’s workforce in a timely and equitable manner. This role may also serve as a supervisor over other general HR functions. The position follows a hybrid work model, blending remote and in‑person work.

Job Duties What You Will Be Doing
Provide supervision and leadership of the Talent Acquisition function for the division, including technical assistance and support for recruiters.
Lead process improvement efforts, oversee implementation of initiatives, and ensure measures are in place to evaluate effectiveness and reach goals.
In collaboration with the DNRP HR Talent Acquisition Program Manager and WTD HR Manager, monitor and implement management systems to maintain and enhance existing recruitment standards and ensure consistency and effectiveness of hiring practices.
Support the development of key competencies and skills in the Talent Acquisition team.
Support the division Human Resources Manager with data, information, and process suggestions for ensuring the talent acquisition team is thriving.
Create, analyze, and report on talent acquisition metrics and other HR related metrics. Develop action plans informed by the metrics to achieve the division, department, and County’s HR goals.
Lead management and expedition of recruitment workload, collaborate with section managers to determine priorities, and assist in workforce planning efforts.
May conduct full‑cycle recruitments for critical positions as needed.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring
Talent acquisition experience to include leading a variety of positions and recruitment processes in a union environment.
Experience as a team lead or supervisor in a talent acquisition function.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build effective relationships with all levels of an organization.
Experience creating and using tools, metrics, and goals to manage work, set priorities, and monitor outcomes.
Experience with process improvement projects and implementation.
Strong technical skills with Microsoft products including Word and Excel.
Intermediate level experience with NEOGOV recruitment and onboarding modules.
Intermediate level experience with PeopleSoft or other enterprise‑level HCM systems.

Supplemental Information – Working Conditions Work Location : The WTD Human Resources team works in a hybrid model with days in the office and telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work depends on business needs and may change. Primary onsite location is King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson, Seattle, Washington 98104. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite.
Work Schedule : Full‑time 40‑hour work week. Exempt from FLSA overtime; not overtime‑eligible.
Union Representation : This position is not represented by a union.
