Territory Sales Manager – Greater Cleveland, OH
Remote-based in the territory with heavy travel (up to 75%). We are hiring for our client, a market leader in their industry, seeking a Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across the Greater Cleveland region. This is a high‑impact role for a results‑driven leader who thrives in the field—expect to spend 75% of your time traveling within the market to engage with clients, coach your team, and drive sales success. As the Territory Sales Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of four Sales Managers/Representatives, providing hands‑on guidance while executing strategic sales plans that align with company growth objectives. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers/reps to exceed goals. Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company revenue targets. Drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across your territory. Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new opportunities and optimize margins. Build strong partnerships with key clients, distributors, and dealers to ensure growth. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand market visibility. Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service to deliver consistent client experiences. Report regularly on territory performance, competitive activity, and growth strategies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets. 3–5 years of sales management experience, leading high‑performing teams. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. A self‑starter mentality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
