Manufacturing Engineer – Cleanroom (ISO Class 7)
We’re seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer
to join our team and lead advanced microelectronics assembly in our
ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) Cleanroom .
This is an exciting opportunity to work on
mission‑critical semiconductor devices
that support

What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise cleanroom assemblers while ensuring compliance with strict quality standards (MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38535).
Perform advanced processes: wire bonding (gold & aluminum), die attach (silver glass, eutectic), lid sealing (solder & weld hermetic packages).
Program and operate advanced equipment: Palomar 3880, BJ820, Palomar 8000i, BTU, SST, Sikama.
Design and validate assembly drawings and fixtures for automated systems.
Assemble custom packaging: ceramic LGA, flatpacks, CQFP, TSOP, ASICs, multichip modules, and space‑level devices.
Train and certify new employees in cleanroom processes.
Use microscopes for QML Q and V level inspections on microelectronics.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Hands‑on experience with semiconductor assembly and hermetic packaging.
Knowledge of MIL-P-38535 and MIL-STD-883 standards.
Proficiency in C, C++ programming or related industry software.
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for microcircuit assembly.
Ability to work in full cleanroom gowning attire (bunny suit, gloves, coverings).
U.S. work authorization (E‑Verify required).
Ability to pass technical assessment, eye exam, and background check.
