Our client, a rapidly growing PE‑backed construction company, is seeking an
Senior Accountant
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to step into a visible role with strong growth potential. The Senior Accountant will oversee the general ledger, manage the month‑end close process, and supervise one staff accountant—with the opportunity to expand responsibilities as the company scales.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial data
Supervise and mentor one staff accountant, with growth in leadership as the team expands
Support audits, budgeting, and process improvements
Utilize
QuickBooks Online
and
NetSuite
for accounting functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction/project‑based industry experience a plus
Strong technical accounting skills with hands‑on GL and close experience
QuickBooks Online required; NetSuite strongly preferred
Proven leadership or mentoring experience
