Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in our growing Detroit, MI office.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day handling of all pre‑litigation work
Complete the Flip‑to‑Lit approval
Guide clients through the case process
Drafting and filing of pre‑litigation documents
Complete TD approval for liability issues
Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
Manage the release approval process
Manage a team of 6‑10 Case Managers
Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily premises liability
Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
Requirements
Law degree from a fully accredited law school
An active member in good standing with the MI State Bar Association
2+ years of personal injury experience
Ability to manage high volume of pre‑lit cases
Excellent client service and communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
Desire to become part of a trial team
This role reports to the Pre‑Suit Operations Manager.
