Overview Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Accounts Payable Accountant . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with accuracy and efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, and checks).
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
Assist with month‑end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
Support internal and external audit requests related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with procurement, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payables.
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting or accounts payable experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
