Job Summary Full‑time outside sales, hybrid position. Sales activity occurs from a home office, local schools, community events, and in‑person client meetings. The role focuses on representing Varsity Brands’ apparel products within the Delaware and Eastern Shore, Maryland territory.
Responsibilities
Plan and prospect for territory sales.
Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and athletes.
Meet & exceed assigned territory sales goals.
Provide honest, confident feedback about style and fit.
Seek product knowledge to build expertise.
Maintain personal drive for professional growth.
Build and maintain lasting client relationships.
Travel to appointments within the territory.
Excel in a work‑from‑home environment.
Recruit for summer camp brands.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of cheer and dance industry.
Willingness to learn product construction, technicalities, and pricing.
Organized, detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through.
Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, and create solutions.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred.
Industry experience preferred; administrative support experience >=2 years.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, walking and driving. Must be able to lift 15‑30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
Compensation Base draw $38,000 plus performance‑based incentives. Pay varies by education, experience, and internal equity.
Travel Local travel to schools and organizations within territory; occasional out‑of‑area and overnight travel.
Work Schedule Hours vary by customer needs; evening and weekend work may be required.
