Adecco is searching for a Junior Maintenance Technician in Fitchburg! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
Hours:
9:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday
Pay:
$26.40/hour
Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facility. Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair.
Responsibilities:
Work safely while troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems (motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, production machinery, etc.). Diagnose failures using schematics, drawings, and manuals; replace defective components. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and controls; test and inspect circuits and equipment for safety and efficiency. Use PLCs to troubleshoot automated lines and assist engineers with root cause analysis. Follow preventive maintenance schedules, maintain clean and safe work areas, and comply with OSHA standards. Support production and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce downtime. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of maintenance experience. Electrical and PLC certification/training or equivalent experience required. Strong mechanical, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and quality. Pay Details:
$26.40 per hour
