Description Assess patients of all ages-pediatric, adult, and geriatric-using a mix of standardized assessments and observational techniques. Create tailored treatment strategies to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to foster cohesive patient care. Educate patients and their families, empowering them to reinforce progress outside therapy sessions. Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care. Keep precise and prompt documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations. Stay engaged with professional development through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age groups, with an in-depth understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Capacity to adapt therapy techniques to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
