Description Utilize standardized assessments and observational techniques to evaluate patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics. Craft personalized treatment plans that address specific short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals. Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions focused on various aspects including communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to continue support even beyond clinical settings. Occasionally engage in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Adhere to thorough and timely documentation practices compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay informed about advancements in the field via continuing education and collaboration with peers. Education

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), in case you have not yet acquired ASHA certification. Certifications

Valid state licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills

Proficiency in evidence-based practices for individuals across all age groups, with a deep understanding of developmental as well as acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment paired with excellent problem-solving skills.
