Maintenance Technician Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment and property. This role supports production operations through proactive and preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical systems, building infrastructure, and production equipment to meet customer and production demands. Collaboration with other maintenance team members and skilled workers is essential.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all production and facility equipment to prevent or reduce downtime. Set up, install, and test new equipment or components; assist in dismantling and removing obsolete systems. Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for machinery and facility systems. Operate a variety of shop equipment and maintain operational performance of wastewater treatment systems. Identify and recommend process or system improvements to increase uptime, efficiency, and product quality. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure proper installation, repair, and operation of equipment and facility systems. Support and maintain a strong safety culture by following all company safety rules and reporting incidents or near misses. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Support ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Health & Safety) management system processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum

5 years of experience

in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or equivalent education and training. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and industrial testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication. Forklift operation experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Pay Details:

$22.00 to $30.00 per hour
