Job Description
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide quality patient care while floating to Med/Surg and PCU as needed. The nurse should possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and be able to assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects. Responsibilities will include recognizing safety issues, working in high-stress situations, and implementing appropriate patient care strategies.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care. Recognize and address safety issues for patients and self. Effectively float between Med/Surg and PCU departments. Function under stress with strong problem-solving skills. Assume duties as a charge nurse when necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must hold a current NY RN license. Coronary Care experience is required. Completion of at least one successful travel assignment. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BLS certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire. Previous hospital RN experience preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
