SHIFT: Days - (6:30 to 2:30) 40 hrs./wk. - 52 weeks/yr.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Responsible for FMLA, Workman's Comp and TDI forms. To provide back-up assistance in placing lunch aides, substitute teacher assistants, clerks and substitute teachers.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

Typing of correspondence and entering information into a data base. Telephone communication as required. Maintenance of files and records as required. Communication with staff, administration and the public as required Coordinates the bidding process and appointments to various classified postings. Responsible for maintaining classified employment records, attendance program and any contractual entitlements as required. Assist with Verkada and badge access. Maintain a tracking system of performance for all classified probationary employees. Initiates transfer evaluations and tracks bumping provisions for bargaining unit employees, position control for WISE. Assist with the daily staffing needs for placing substitute clerks, teacher assistants, lunch aides and teachers as needed. ESY Job Fair and Teacher Assistant Job Fair. WISE personal day requests. To assist in Human Resources office as needed. Other related duties, including providing coverage for other Human Resources office positions as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ability to make accurate tabulations and computations; the ability to readily understand and carry out directions, both oral and written, reasonable speed and accuracy in typing and keyboarding, must meet or exceed minimum standards set in regards to applicant testing, should be familiar with office equipment, including, but not limited to: computer, calculator, telephone, photocopier and familiarity with applicable software applications preferred, but not required; the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written form; the ability to handle confidential data and material with utmost discretion; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; the ability to develop an effective working relationship with administration, staff and the public; familiarity with the Wise Union Agreement; must have strong interpersonal skills familiarity with Federal and State regulations relative to FMLA, TDI, employment and ADA issues and the ability to perform duties with awareness of school department requirements and policies.

EDUCATION:

Such as may be gained through graduation from a senior high school or equivalent (GED), including or supplemented by business course work, keyboarding and computer software application. Business college or technical school graduate preferred. Previous personnel experience preferred.
