Overview
Corewell Health's Behavioral Health department is hiring a full-time consult liaison psychiatrist to join their experienced provider team in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate has experience with inpatient consult liaison practice. Fellowship training is also ideal, but not required. Responsibilities
Provide in-person consults at two Grand Rapids hospitals and remote telepsychiatry consults to regional hospitals. Collaborate with a team of two full-time psychiatrists (one with fellowships in C/L and Addiction) and a full-time APP. Participate in teaching service with residents, medical students, and APP students. Engage in an academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Maintain a Monday – Friday schedule with weekends covered by an in-person APP. Provide light call by phone 1:4 weeks. Manage a light-to-moderate patient load. Salary position with full benefits. Qualifications
MD/DO degree. BC/BE in General Psychiatry. Ability to obtain a Medical License in Michigan. Fellowship in Consult Liaison Psychiatry preferred but not required. License/certification requirements per state and specialty (LIC-Physician MD/DO, LIC-Osteopathic, CRT-DEA, CRT-BLS/ACLS as applicable). About the Hospitals
