Currently seeking a Deputy director of FP&A to lead the financial planning of its residential business, in a position that blends strategic financial insight with operational acumen to drive profitability and long-term financial sustainability across its projects. What the job involves
Lead the annual financial planning process and periodic forecasts for the residential business, aligning financial goals with strategic objectives
Act as a key strategic partner to business, commercial, and operational leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations that enhance performance and profitability
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new projects, construction phases, product changes, and commercial strategies
Monitor and analyze sales budgets, validating targets, pricing, and projected volumes to ensure alignment with market dynamics and business plans
Control and review direct and indirect costs associated with residential developments, working closely with operations, construction, and development teams
Track and evaluate project-level gross and operating margins, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions when needed
Lead the preparation and monitoring of monthly and project-specific cash flows, ensuring sufficient liquidity, proactive funding strategies, and optimal resource allocation
Generate executive financial reports that translate business performance into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
Identify financial risks and optimization opportunities throughout all stages of the project lifecycle
Serve as the key liaison between the finance function and the residential business' operational and commercial areas, promoting alignment and financial accountability
Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and financial control guidelines
Continuously assessing and improving financial processes, reinforcing a culture of efficiency, transparency, and business partnership
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering. Master's degree in finance or MBA preferred
Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken)
Ample experience in financial planning, business controlling, or management reporting roles. With extensive experience in the real estate or residential development industry, with deep understanding of construction budgets, residential business models, and project profitability metrics
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
Advanced command of Excel and financial modeling tools; experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Solid understanding of cash flow management, sensitivity analysis, and project evaluation
Effective communication and influencing skills, capable of building trust and alignment across non-financial and cross-functional teams, with demonstrated leadership, proactivity, and problem-solving mindset, with strong business orientation and decision-making influence
Ability to partner closely with commercial and operational teams, fostering collaboration and shared accountability for business results
