Travel **Facility is able to request 90 Day Emergency License** Do NOT need OR license at time of submittal Unit Notes for CHI Mercy Medical Center Unit PCU # of beds 20 Ratios 1:3 (max 1:4 if medical overflow) Required Certifications ACLS, BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients Cardiac, Respiratory, ETOH w/d, Renal failure Experience or 'Must have' skills Acute care, cardiac and respiratory Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes minimal Common titratable &/or set rate drips Cardizem, heparin, amiodarone Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes both Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios Yes 1:7 days, 1:11 nights RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap, Bipap, high flow nasal cannula Is there tele on this unit? Monitor techs? RNs read strips? Yes monitor techs and RNs Shifts & Scheduling 12 hours 1845-0715 Weekend Requirement EOW Holiday Requirement 1 major and 1 minor Is there a call or standby requirement?
