Engagement Leadership: Manage and review complex individual (1040) and business (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041) tax returns, overseeing client engagements from start to finish for timely and accurate delivery. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients across various specialized industries, identifying opportunities to reduce tax liabilities and support long-term growth. Technical Guidance: Provide technical tax guidance and support to the team, ensuring firm-wide compliance practices remain up to date with the latest tax law changes. Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and proactively addressing their needs. Team Development: Support team growth and performance through coaching, mentorship, and training. Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting with a focus on tax. CPA license is required (or actively in progress). Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation preferred). Proficiency in individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns; advanced accounting, analytical, and research skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Must be fluent in English; Spanish fluency is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Practice CS and UltraTax is a plus. Benefits & Culture
