Disaronno Ingredients is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Baltimore office and support our financial operations with precision and efficiency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in high-volume accounts payable and receivable, and strong proficiency in QuickBooks. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage high-volume invoice processing, including multicurrency transactions, payment tracking, managing established payment plans and timely collection of outstanding balances. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Data Entry & Reporting: Input financial data into QuickBooks and generate financial reports as needed. Create and Manage Items, Unit of measures, Customers and vendors in our systems. Bank & Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and corporate credit cards statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. Financial Support: Collaborate with senior accountants, controller and finance teams on audits, tax filings, and budgeting. Inventory Assistance: Support inventory-related accounting tasks, including tracking inventory transactions, reconciling inventory balances, and assisting with periodic inventory counts and reporting. CPA Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for external CPA communications and documentation. Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; Associate’s Degree acceptable with relevant experience. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AP/AR and bookkeeping in a high-volume environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy. Communication: Effective interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external vendors. Work Environment: On-site role, Monday to Friday, at our Baltimore Peninsula office.
